DPM Extended Hours
Requests of extended operating service hours for The Detroit People Mover must be formally submitted to the Detroit Transportation Corporation no later than six weeks prior to the start of the month in which the event will be held.
A response will be provided to the contact person within seven business days. Prior to all approved events, DTC will post the revised hours on the website and on signage within the People Mover system. Please contact the DTC for hourly rates during the following timeframes: after 12 a.m., weekdays before 7 a.m. and weekends before 10 a.m.
DTC reserves the right to deny requests for any reason, including but not limited to considerations of overtime hours and pre-scheduled maintenance activity. If operations cannot be extended due to external situations beyond the control of DTC that will prohibit additional operating hours of the system, the requesting group will be notified in advance of the event.
